slim guide I have several price guides for stuff as it is part of being a collector. I have to say that this is a slim guide. The problem with it is the huge amount of comics covered in it. Their prices do not match Overstreet's and therefore this guide is lacking. There is almost no mention of horror movies promotional items. A good guide for horror toys but they promised so much more. Skip it and look for something better. Sorry.
Tomarts Definitive Guide To Horror Collectibles This is probably one the most informative guide to anything and everthing horror that has been produced in the last 25 years. From everything to movieposters to memorabilia, Tomarts Guide to Horror is a must have for every horror fan. With full color pages how could anyone pass this up. I strongly recomend that if you buy horror movies regularly, you should definitely give this book a try.
Pretty Cool and One of a kind! I am a Freddy Krueger nut and I have all kind of junk collected from all over the place. This is a very concise guide with lots of pictures of almost all the items in it. For awhile it was my checklist of what I hadn't gotten a hold of yet. I love this and keep it close to my collection. It also made me aware of all of the other monster items that are out there in the horror genre. This book covers everything from classic movie monsters (nosferatu, Frankenstein,) to the newest sideshow and mcfarlane releases. I just hope they release a second edition soon to keep up with the new booming market of horror collectibles!
