A Comic Review of Recent History! Gary Huck and Mike Konopacki are widely-published pro-labor, pro-union cartoonists with a biting and "right on" sense of the ironic. Mostly published in the labor press, these cartoons have probably never been seen on the editorial pages of your local newspaper! "Bye! American" is a stunning collection of Huck & Konopacki cartoons from the Reagan era. While that administration is long gone, many of the cartoons still stand the test of time and all of them are a sharp reminder of the anti-worker campaigns and foreign policy of the period. Reagan and the NLRB take a definite beating here, which will probably warm a lot of hearts. Huck & Konopacki's observations on "free trade" and "tax cuts" are still timely and sharp. All will keep you laughing -- especially if you are a trade unionist or social justice activist.
