The book starts with basic tips for drawing Chibi-style facial features and bodies. Kids then get pages and pages of mischievous, high-energy renderings, each broken down into four simple steps-in each step, new lines are highlighted in a bright second color, making it easy to progress through the steps and build the final drawing. Kids learn to draw a wide range of Chibi-style figures, including class clowns, messy kids, fantasy fighters, roly-poly boys and girls, funny sidekicks, adorable monsters, and more. Best-selling author Christopher Hart's simple process and ultra-cute drawings will motivate without intimidating, getting kids drawing right away!
Great Book For Aspiring Little Artists! The young lady I bought this book for just loves it.
Instead try... Don't bother getting this book. Instead, try Christopher Hart's other book in the manga mania series titled "Chibi and Furry characters." It's much better in terms of likeness to actual japanese animation artwork.
Draw Manga Chibi! (Xtreme Art) not for beginner artist its just a coloring book ... although I admire Mr. Hart for his other books which I give most of them ( 5 ) starts ... I think this book is just a small piece of cake for kids to have fun ... BUT its not a DRAW book
Great book for my kids My kids absolutely loved this book. This book has 60 pages of drawings which created a great deal of fun for my kids and I. It was alot of entertainment for the dollar!
I was concerned about the last reviewer stating that there were "millions of errors" which would translate to well over 16,000 errors on each page! Luckily my daughters and I found none We loved it!!
