The Grimms defend Mr. Canis in Ferryport Landing’s trial of the century!
This book sees Mr. Canis, dear friend and protector of the Grimm family, put on trial for past crimes. Considering that he’s really the Big Bad Wolf, he has a lot to answer for. Is there any truth to the story told by Little Red Riding Hood? What’s the deal with all that huffing and puffing? Will Mr. Canis be forced to answer for his crimes?
A kangaroo court of Everafters, led by the cruel Queen of Hearts, is determined to find Canis guilty and force the Grimms out of Ferryport Landing. Meanwhile, Puck has decided to focus more on his mischievous ways, making a few new troublemaker friends. So it’s up to Sabrina and Daphne to find evidence to save Canis—and their investigation may reveal more than they hoped.
Readers have embraced the first five books in the series, and this gripping courtroom drama won’t disappoint.
Better than Ever Another great page-turner from Michael Buckley and his Sisters Grimm series. My daughter (9) and I took turns reading the entire series and I'd have to say this may be the best of them all, and that is saying something. A bit more dramatic than the others, the Grimm girls are growing up a little and so we are treated to some love, angst, and even sadness. I almost cried at one point, but my daughter took it all in stride so I don't think the book is overly dramatic, it's just that good. If you are looking for some answers and ready to get more insight into some of the Grimm family secrets than buy the book, pick a comfy chair and jump in!
best book ever!!! This book is the best so far. I especially loved the the ending because there was no way I could have seen it coming!!! I can't wait for book 7!!!
Another Exciting Grimm Sisters Tale Book 6 is another quick and exciting read in the Sisters Grimm story. It would also seem that it might be a pivotal edition: the girls are growing up, old characters leave, new characters enter, and the Scarlet Hand has taken over Ferryport Landing. As good as this book was (and it didn't disappoint for a moment), I'm more eager to see what the next couple of books will mean for the girls.
A little scarier than previous books, but another good, quick read Book 6 picks up where #5 left off. Mr Canis has been arrested and the Sisters Grimm are still trying to wake their parents.
A few of the characters from previous books return--Prince Charming and Little Red Riding Hood both make appearances. A few new characters join our fairy tale bunch--Robin Hood, Goldilocks and Bluebeard join the fray.
Like previous books kids are left waiting for the next book to learn if the Sisters ever get their parents back.
