Amazon.com: In "Bart the Daredevil," Bart takes his career cues from daredevil Captain Lance Murdock--who nearly dies in a hilarious stunt involving a motorcycle jump over a tank filled with sharks, piranhas, electric eels, alligators, and a lion--and starts making leaps on his skateboard to impress friends. But when he threatens to jump Springfield Gorge, Homer steps in (and does a great Lance Murdock imitation). In "Itchy, Scratchy & Marge," Marge becomes alarmed at baby Maggie being influenced by the hyperviolent Itchy & Scratchy cartoons and launches a boycott. She tangles with cartoon boss Roger Myers (a wonderful Alex Rocco) and actually gets the cartoons toned down. --Marshall Fine
Ay Carumbua! another triumph This is a must for all simpsons lovers in "bart the daredevil" the classic scene of homer jumping springfield gorge is worth the money."Itchy, scratchy and Marge" is okay, I have seen better episodes but for the early seasons, its okay. Overall this video is worth the buy because you cannot get these on dvd for a while.Long live VHS!
One classic and one good eposide Bart the Daredevil of course has many people's favourite Simpsons scene, the delightful moment of Homer falling down a cliff. A succession of hysterical impacts along the way mad ethis memorable. The rest of the episode is clever and fun. itchy and Scratchy and Marge is also very clever, with Marge's outrage at the violent cartoons leading to a mob of fuddy-duddies outraged at Michaelangelo's David. Good stuff from the early days
