5 out of 5 starsThey're baaack!
Somebody gave me the first graphic novel as a joke and was surprised I liked it.

This story picks up 50 years later when the zombies discover they have eaten just about everybody. As Giant Man exclaims "I can't believe we ate the whole thing" after reaching the edge of the known universe.

After almost turning on each other; Giant Man remembers the machine used by Reed Richards to escape this dimension so it's back to earth to find it.

During the past 50 years; the survivors of Earth try to recover but the Black Panther understands there isn't enough genetic diversity for man to survive. On top of that; some desire power and want change. After all the Zombies are gone; the old ways are no longer needed!

Rather then spoil the whole plot, how about a short and quick? A Zombie is re-discovered, something happens to the Black Panther, there is an almost showdown, the zombies return, another zombie returns, the machine is found!

This was a nice addition to the story line and it complimented the original plot. The graphics make the story work. Of course there are the adapted covers from the past at the end of the novel.

Now on to the third addition.

4 out of 5 starsEntertaining on both a visual and reading level
A lot has already been said about this through all of the other reviews, so I will not waste your time in reading the same things over again. Suffice it to say that this is a wonderful little gem that is very entertaining. If your into Marvel and into Zombies, well, your in for a treat. Don't expect a real in depth story, they went for a primarily guts and gore fest with some wonderful wit and 'commentary'. Your favorite heroes keep their personalities and traits that make them endearing when they were, well, alive. Otherwise this is a fun read that you can read multiple times.

The real pleasure here is the art work. If gore turns you off, then steer clear, but there is no denying that it is good. Granted, comic book artists are all good in their own way, but some just have a skill that really gives the graphic piece that 'POP' that it needs. Sean Phillips and Arthur Suydam did their job well.

1 out of 5 starsDisturbed
I know this is for fans of all things Zombie but I feel compelled to write that the cross over of Marvel super heros and zombies is disturbing - is nothing sacred? It is weird to see our history of super heros..underlined..taken over like this. Maybe it is hard to explaine but this is just not right..

5 out of 5 starsAs good as the first
I'm just adding my voice to all the others. I'm a big zombie fan and I enjoyed this comic alot. Just as good as the first. If you are a zombie fan and you like superheroes, this is the perfect mesh of both. Buy it, buy it, buy it.

3 out of 5 starsOk read
This book was ok, but not really that much depth to it. It also leaves more questions than answers, which is usually a good thing, but in this instance it wasn't. I had just read the watchmen before I read this so it seemed pretty weak.
