Product Description: The Ultimates vs. the Ultimate X-Men: the battle begins. When the X-Men do the worst thing they could to humanity, the government orders Captain America, Iron Man, Thor and the rest of the Ultimates to bring them down. A small but lethal army, the Ultimates were created to face these and other newly rising threats to mankind. But the X-Men's founder, Professor X, hasn't been training his students for nothing -- and the youngs mutants just might take out the Ultimates first.
Very enjoyable While it doesn't seem to be a true all-out battle between the Ultimates and the Ultimate X-men, it was very entertaining nonetheless. When Magneto shows up again after being declared dead by the X-men, the president assumes the worse and dispatches the Ultimates to find the X-men and arrest them. Not surprisingly, they run into serious problems, as the X-men manage to hold them off, and, if not beat them, stop them in more than a few ways. My biggest beef with this story is that the ramifications were never followed up on. The next time they meet, it's like all is forgiven and the X-men are heroes to everyone. So even though I liked it, I found that part to be a little hollow.
Pretty Awesome Pretty good book in the series pretty interesting how the ultimates and X-men mix it up.
not the greatest iv seen i hate the art in it the fight where to short but the story was ok
Excrement This is a positively terrible book. The artwork is by no means up to the standards of the first three books. I would not waste my money!
Ultimate War Here we have two new Marvel creations meeting and fighting: The Ultimate X-Men and the Ultimates. The art is back up to par in this book. The story still as strong as the previous books. Even this far along they've kept it fresh.
