4 out of 5 stars'Terror Beyond Your Wildest Dreams' !!!
I thought Freddy's 4th was pretty good. Sometime after part 3, Kristen, Joey, and Kincaid realize Freddy is coming back! After Joey and Kincaid die, Kristen tells Alice about Freddy. Kristen dies and Alice is given a power because she is the dream master and could kill Freddy! There are some cool scenes like when Freddy is on the beach. One disgusting part is when Debbie is working out, and Freddy turns her arms into giant cockroach arms. Another cool/disgusting part is when Freddy is about to eat a meatball off a pizza, and the heads on the meatballs look like Alice's friends that keep dying. If you love the Freddy movies, you'll love A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET 4: THE DREAM MASTER!!!

1 out of 5 starsFrom Dream Master to Dream Disaster.
Another mess of a sequel, Freddy's knives are duller than ever.
Not scary, not interesting, and does nothing to advance the Freddy legend.
Another Hollyweird attempt to further milk the franchise.
Dream master? More like a$$ master.
Pass.

3 out of 5 starsHad Trouble With This One
This installment of ANOES is where I start having trouble enjoying myself. While The Dream Master does continue the story of part 3, it seems to be rather uneventful and linear.

When most of the characters in ANOES 3 were dispatched, the addition of Alice and her brother were cool, but Alice's character was still in her meek stage in this installment.

Overall The Dream Master works as a transition film, it's not the climax, but it works up to it. While there are some cool dream and death sequences (personal favorite is the roach girl), ANOES 4 really leads to nowhere...but it guess it kinda makes sense because there's a 5th part.

3 out of 5 starsFreddy vs. Kunoichi
Before the knockout drag out bout with Jason. Freddy was going one on one with Alice(Lisa Wilcox). Despite turning more into a dark comedy. This 4th installment isn't at all very bad. There is alot to like here. First of all the new cast. I liked every last one of them. They were some cool characters and I actually cared about them.

I liked the way Freddy came back and started tieing up loose ends right away. This made alot of time to get to know the new cast. A new Christian(Tuesday Knight) makes her debut. Lending her talents to a new character. The concept of pulling people into dreams was done before but this led to a very well done ending.

The dream sequences are every bit as good as the third and some of the deaths are over the top. But this one lacks the engaging story telling of the third one and the original. However, one scene that will always stand out to me is the repeat segment. I still remember the audiences reaction when I saw this in theatres. We was like,"WTH?"

One thing I will give this 4th sequel. The ending to me is by far the best of the series. The ending to Dream Warriors should have guaranteed Freddies death. But this one should have really put a final end to the comedic ghoul. After this one, I just could never understand how he kept coming back. This is a really good watch for entertainment purposes. Not scary in the slightest but it does its job keeping the viewer occupied.

5 out of 5 starsBest of the series!
NOES 4, in my opinion, is the best of the series. While the acting is noteworthy, the best element of the film is the GREAT DEATH SEQUENCES. Watch out for the following:
The 'wanna suck face' death: This is a disturbing yet effective death, as Freddy derives sexual pleasure from giving Sheila the 'kiss of death' and inducing a killer asthma attack.
The Roach Girl death: I first saw this film when I was 10 years old, and the Roach Girl death sequence is the reason this film has remained in my mind for the past 13 years. This death is VERY DISTURBING, and it alone makes the film worth watching. It taps into the common human fear of the degradation of the body, and it is also interesting because Freddy shrinks his victim (Debbie) to the size of a roach, further insulting her and making her death almost seem irrelevant. As with the 'wanna suck face' death, Freddy once again derives a sadistic pleasure from the suffering of his victim.
BUY THIS FILM! YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!
