Editorial Comments

Amazon.com:
This attempt to reunite the stars of White Men Can't Jump will most likely be remembered as the movie that allegedly inspired a number of copycat arsons in the New York subway system. In other words, the movie itself is too perfunctory to be remembered for any other reason. Woody Harrelson and Wesley Snipes share their established chemistry as a pair of stepbrothers who work the subway detail as undercover detectives in the NYPD. Woody's a compulsive gambler with a huge debt problem to contend with, and he's also competing with his brother for the attentions of their new and beautiful partner (Jennifer Lopez), who's been assigned to join their investigation of the subway crimes. They're also supposed to guard the daily money train (so named because it contains each day's worth of subway fares), but Woody gets the bright idea that it might be the solution to his money woes. What follows is standard-issue action fare for the mid-1990s--lots of violence, excessive profanity, and attempts at witty banter between the costars to make it all seem more entertaining than it really is. You'd need to be a serious Harrelson, Snipes, or Lopez fan to add this movie to your collection. For anyone else, one viewing ought to be enough. --Jeff Shannon

1 out of 5 starsNo Money In This Train
Sorry, Harrelson and Snipes have their moments, but Jennifer Lopez is not
believable for a moment. Robert Blake is so over the top that he must have thought it was a serious movie. But above everything else, this film looked and sounded like it was being made up as it went along!

5 out of 5 starsGreat old school movie.
Not much to say here but, J to the LO

1 out of 5 starssince when did wesley and woody become lovers?
take 2 ugly men and toss in an overhyped horrible singer/actress and youve got another razzie.minus j-lo and this might have been a 2 star movie.

1 out of 5 starsmoronic
the script is garbage...as if they made it up as they were going along ( the amount of production goofs prove it).....even a golf ball knows you can stop a train by killing the power to the third rail...the subway chase scene ?...catching a train on a motorcycle ?...the two trains ramming at high speed ? ugh hello !!!this movie was a complete waste of time and to be avoided at all costs......if your into trains by any means, dig into the archives and discover "the taking of pelham one two three"

3 out of 5 starswhite man can't jump and passenger 57 join again this time n $ train with jlo
da chemistry between woody and wesley was just as good as white man can't jump they did some thing different and move from da pacific coast 2 da east coast this time it was over money and a girl jlo she used woody 2 get wesely snipes n this movie which caused da relationship between woody and wesely as half brothers 2 split up 4 a while until they was n da train and had no choice but 2 work together 2 save da money n da train robert blake was annoyin me throughout da movie as da supervisor cop he would always blame wesely and woody 4 making a careless error but at da end u got his by gettin double punched by woody and wesely but i have 2 admit jlo may not being da prettiest pureto rican n da world but she does have a kind of sexy appeal and she has a nice body so that helps u out in this movie i glad this movie took place in nyc because it is one of my favorite cities n da world and on christmas time da movie doesn't get any better
