Ditko & Romita fan's delight Nice little item that features classic Steve Ditko and John Romita Spider-Man art that pops right out at you! Great gift for that Spidey fan in your life (young or old!)
Great Book! I purchased this book for my 7-year-old grandson. He loved it! It's very well constructed, extremely colorful and has numerous pop-ups that are loaded with personal superhero information. I would highly recommend this for all those little superhero fans!
Appealing Book for Spidey Fans, Not for Preschoolers Review by Sherry North, Author, Because You Are My Baby
My preschooler loves Spider-Man, so I got him this exciting pop-up edition. He loves the pop-up villains and often requests this book at story time. The problem is that there's really no coherent story to read. Each page offers information about a particular villain, plus some background on Spider-Man's adventures. This may be satisfying for older Spidey fans, but it doesn't work too well when you're trying to read to your child. Also, the pop-up figures are not sturdy enough to survive the enthusiasm of very small children.
Visually Stunning! I'm a Spiderman novice, but I purchased this on sale for under $6 and was completely blown away by the gorgeous, vivid images and the sturdy pop-outs. The book is well-made and top quality in terms of attractiveness and durability. Although I have never been a comic book fan, I am tempted to read through it before gifting it to my nephew! Very cool!
