Product Description:
Once, in a house on Egypt Street, there lived a china rabbit named Edward Tulane. The rabbit was very pleased with himself, and for good reason: he was owned by a girl named Abilene, who treated him with the utmost care and adored him completely.

And then, one day, he was lost.

Kate DiCamillo takes us on an extraordinary journey, from the depths of the ocean to the net of a fisherman, from the top of a garbage heap to the fireside of a hobos camp, from the bedside of an ailing child to the bustling streets of Memphis. And along the way, we are shown a true miracle: even a heart of the most breakable kind can learn to love, to lose, and to love again.

5 out of 5 starsIt gave us chills!!!!!
I selected Edward Tulane as a teacher read aloud for my third grade class. At first, the plot seemed a bit involved and disjointed for younger children. How could so many things happen to a defenseless china rabbit? It seemed that we would never get to the "good part". The kids did not react much as I read, which is highly unusual. After reading a few chapters, however, the kids began to beg for me to read another when our time ended each day. While the subject matter can be a bit brutal at times, we stopped to discuss any misunderstood themes, and, soon, the kids hung on every word! The initial plot twist of Edward becoming separated from his owner made us wonder if he would ever return to her again. Kate DiCamillo amazingly twists the plot in the last few pages of the book. Prepare to have cold chills and goosebumps! My class and I certainly did!

5 out of 5 starsOur Family's favorite book!
My family enjoyed this book so very much. We all agree that it is her finest.

5 out of 5 starsLove & Real
This is a beautiful story, teaches children what love means and how it affect someone's life. I also knew somebody thought this story is like bad influences to their children. But what we as parents should teach our children nowadays are what real life is. What and how many people out there are living in poverty as well as cruelty and yet love soothes their heart and keeps them moving on. We should teach them how grateful that we are living in such a comfortable zone and learn to appreciate it.

5 out of 5 starsMiraculous Journey.....Not
The book itself is wonderful and I had ordered 4 copies for my grandchildren from a1 books. I received a message that they had been sent, but when the time for their delivery had come and gone, I made an inquiry, reporting that it was well past the time they should have arrived. I received a very circuitous message from a1 which indicated that my account had been credited as they did not have the book in stock, almost a month after I had ordered them.
Granted, I did receive a message that the payment had been refunded to my account, but at the time there was no explanation as why, so I assumed, since I paid a set amount each month to Amazon, that I had a credit....not that the books were NOT available.

5 out of 5 starsEdward tulane a china bunny and his long emotional journey
This book is amazing and it's the most emotional book I have ever seen. Here is my review for The Miraculous Journey Of Edward Tulane.
Have you ever wondered what its like to be a toy bunny? Well Edward Tulane a toy bunny made of nothing but china, goes on a long journey just to end up with the same person... back to the beginning again. I would rate this book a perfect 10/10. this book is amazing it gets you right in after the first chapter! It's a book where you read it and you just can't stop. Sometimes you may not want to read a book and you don't read it but this book will give you the opposite. Edward Tulane goes on a journey from getting thrown off a boat, to being with a bum, being an entertainment toy to make money, to sitting a shop for years waiting to be sold. Finally a certain person shows up in the shop. Although Edward seems like just a little china toy but really, he has a life of its own. The "plain old toy" has emotions like a human... like me, you, and everyone else. This book is a fictional book and is amazing.
Edward Tulane the little china rabbit has an extraordinary journey and life. This book leaves you thinking. It's a short book but when your done it feels like you have been reading a story with a million pages with a size 1 font that's how amazing this book feels. Kate Dicamilo made an amazing book and I think she has done nothing wrong at all! I recommend this book for everyone, adults, kids, even teens. This book makes you happy, sad, angry, and every emotion you can think of. In conclusion I think everyone should read this book its amazing.
