For the Scientist in Every Child Children are natural scientists, as author and teacher Barbara Lehn makes clear in this lovely book. She describes the activities of a scientist in clear and concise words, which are accompanied by color photos of the kids in her classrom doing scientific experiments. The children make observations, pose questions, answer them with follow-up experiments, and most of all, have fun. I recommend this book for anyone who wants to encourage a child's sense of wonder and discovery.
