Product Description: Hey! Hey! What do you say! It’s time to take a bath today.
From the irrepressible Sandra Boynton comes an irresistible storybook for bath time. Bath Time! is waterproof, nontoxic, completely baby-safe—and it floats!
It’s a classic tale of pig meets paint. Spattered with colors from a long day at the easel, the pig takes to the tub, washcloth in hoof, determined to get all pink and clean.
Gently scrub from top to toes. Now I kiss you on the nose. All clean! (Squeak squeak!)
On the last page, the snout has a bound-in squeaker. Get it? Squeaky clean?
Boyton is the BEST I LOVE Sandra Boyton and so does my granddaughter. Boyton books are some of our most treasured books. A+++++
My son loves this book! My 15 month old son loves this bath book. He loves books in general, so when I saw this book I bought it for his one year birthday. He loves it!!! We read it in the bath every night. He loves to point at the pig and the pictures of the toys on the second page. It also has a squeaker in it, and he loves when I squeak it when we get to the last page. It is a short book, but he is not bored by it. He likes to play with it in the bath along with his other bath toys. And it is good quality - we have had no problems with it coming apart, and we use it in the bath every night.
great writing--poor quality My son has loved this book all along but the binding is ripping and water is getting inside so I am ordering another...the baby einstein bath one is not as great a story but it is made very well.
Book has Bad Binding but Cute Story Sadly, as other reviewers have noted, the binding of this book comes apart after a month or two of bath time fun. The ink is also beginning to flake. My preschooler loves to read this book to her baby brother. The story is short but very cute and just right for little ones to "read". As a long time lover of Boynton's books, I am saddened that this one is such poor quality because it quickly became a favorite at tub time.
Cute Story - Poor Quality Book My 14 month old son loves this book. He happily will flip through all the pages in the bath as we read it to him. He's not quite ready for War and Peace so this is a great bathtime story for him.
We had the book a few weeks before the cover came off. I tried to repair it with a waterproof glue for plastic but that only lasted about a week before the cover fell off again. I've repaired it twice more since then and, unfortunately, we can't find a fix that will work. It seems the binding just isn't strong enough for toddler page flipping.
My son still plays with the pages in the bath and he's quite happy to do that. We haven't seen any problems with the color coming off them.
