Great family fun! My family and I (wife and 12 yr old son, 9 yr old daughter and 7 yr old daughter) enjoy reading the mysteries in a group and working together attempting to solve the mysteries. Although I think the mysteries would be very challenging for the average child 11 or under teens and up may enjoy the mysteries without becoming frustrated.
So much fun I love this book, it is so much fun. I love to use it when I am sitting around with friends; I give a puzzle and they all throw out questions trying to figure it out, feeding off of each other's insights. It is so fun the moment that one of them figures it out and everyone else says "Oh, I get it!" This book didn't disappoint, the puzzles are so clever and the drawings so cute. I highly recommend it.
