Product Description: How realistic is it to believe that one lover can satisfy a woman’s every fantasy?
Nia Simone Bijou is a woman who has it all - and is driven by the desire for more. Born in Trinidad, reared in Los Angeles, living in Atlanta, Nia is a writer, a thinker, and a woman in conflict. She’s dealing with two sides of her Gemini self, feeling as if there are two women living inside her, both struggling for domination. One side of Nia is a logical yet heartbroken person who has never let go of an old pain, while the other side is a sensual woman who will not let her rest, desiring intimacy and sexual freedom, demanding Pleasure.
In the sweltering heat of July, loneliness, desire, and a struggle with both the sensual self and fantasy inspire Nia to become sexually adventurous, meeting lovers who arouse her in diverse ways, lovers who give her unimaginable experiences, generous lovers who desire to please her as much as she desires to satisfy them. Fantasies spiral out of control, and with her life on the line, Nia discovers that Pleasure does not come without pain.
Filled with passion, populated with characters that are sexually uninhibited, Pleasure is an unforgettable journey into a free-spirited world.
EJD's writing has changed Just like the last book there was too much freakin going on. This was ridiculous. I like reading a good book of fiction not a freaky tale with a lot of psychological talk. But if you're looking for a storyline & plenty of dialogue, it's a wrap for this one because it's not happening. If it wasn't Nia & those twins freaking, or Nia & that girl freakin, or all of them freakin together, it was Nia & all her psychological thoughts that made me end reading the book early because I just couldn't take it anymore. EJD used to be such a good writer, but this was trash. I know longer buy his books. Only rent from the library.
Trying too hard!!!! It's obvious to almost anyone who has read the last 3 books by EJD that he is impressed with his newfound vocabulary and ability to travel abroad. I'm all for expanding my horizons but this was just too much. The main character was not interesting at all. There was nothing in this book that made me care about her or the other characters. Nia comes across as nothing more than EJD's idea/fantasy of a perfect woman. I've been able to travel and socialize with people from different backgrounds so I'm not impressed with EJD's descriptive details on what he thinks are high-end or exclusive hotels, stores etc. Maybe he should spend more time developing more realistic characters and less time trying to impress his readers with his knowledge of words and the latest hot spots.I've only read 100 pages or so but so far I am not thrilled with this latest effort by EJD.
Pleasure Indeed When I first started reading this it didn't seem at all what I was expecting. As I kept turning the pages the story started to absorb into me. After all what woman wouldn't want two men. If it is too good to be true it usually is. Nia meets two brothers (twins) that tap into that dark desire. One smart, one a little thuggish. Their sexual adventures are indeed pleasurable but soon spiral out of control. A Seductive, tingling, satisfying read.

too unrealistic Although I enjoy some of his other books, this one didn't do it for me. It was a slow book, and very unrealistic. The sexual encounters are very graphic which made it a pleasure to read.
wELL.. I would like to say I love this book but Amazon could done better if they would send my info to the person i was buying the book from them..
