Good Overview I'm not a Flash Designer, but I found this book useful as a reference for the Flash projects I need to do.
Excellent Tutorial Having never used Flash, being 52 years young, I can really say this book is very good at teaching Flash CS4 fundamentals. Flash for Dummies does not even rate against this book. I went through the Dummies book first, but got so much more out of the digital classroom book.
Fred just gest it! Fred does it again. He always find a way to make the most intimidating of topics (at lease for me) seem a lot less daunting. His graceful way of explaining things in real context and great analogies just bring things to an approachable level.

Good if your'e in a hurry to get going. I found this book to be very easy to follow. It gets you going very quickly. Compared to the previous Flash CS4 book that I read, this one was like a breath of fresh air. This book is excellent if you want to be using this program pronto! It does not go too much into details which did leave me wanting more at the end. Other than that, I still highly recommend this book. Marc
Buy this book If your really want to learn Flash CS4, this is the book for you. It goes through the different lessons in an easy to read step by step fashion, you will easily be able to follow. One thing I would have liked is longer videos for each one of the chapters. But you can also go to adobe tv to help supplement that one small deficiency.
