Bob Books Set 3: Word FamiliesIn Bob Books Set 3, children progress gently into the next steps of reading. Consonant blends, endings, and a few sight words advance reading skills and create more complex stories. Use of word families make longer stories more manageable. Children love the eight books and hilarious pictures. They delight in two fun-to-do activity books.
My daughter loves it My daughter loves the books. She can't wait to read a new book and would laugh on the pictures. These books give her confidence in learning how to read while enjoying the stories and pictures. Highly recommend.
Bob Books These book sets are AWESOME! I originally purchased these sets for my daughter who wanted to learn to read when she was 3 years old. She quickly picked up the word patterns and was reading at a 2nd to 3rd grade level by Kindergarten. Now, at 12, she's reading at a post high school level. I recently reordered all the sets for my nephew who was struggling at his 1st grade level. He didn't like to read, but these books give kids the instant gratification and feeling of accomplishment and now he can't wait to move to the next book! Books are worth every penny!
BOB's great! I teach Kindergarten, and these little books are just perfect for beginning readers. Also, although the pictures are very simple line drawings, the text and drawings are clever and often humorous.
Must Have For Beginner Readers My daughter was having a hard time reading. When the books arrive, she started reading immediately. It was amazing. I totally recommend Bob Books to beginnger readers.
Okay The first two sets were very good and thought the 3rd one will be excellent. The 3rd set made my son go bit off.. not much reading, but has little bit of basic activites (e.g, drawing line between word and picture, etc.). Hope the 4th and 5th sets would be goo.
