Great shojo manga... It's possible that Del rey just can't publish the tenth manga because it's not out yet in Japan.. I really hope that's the case.
Ghost Hunt Volume 9: Where the Anime leaves off Ghost Hunt is a series of arc style stories revolving around the work of SPR (A company that researches encounters with the paranormal. Among their "normal" staff members are: Naru (short for Narcissist) the director of the agency, Mai a high school student, Bou-san a former Buddhist Monk and rockstar, Lin a Chinese Onmyoji, Ayako a Shinto Preistess, John an Austrailian Catholic Priest, and Masako who is a traditional Medium. Together they solve paranormal mysteries, and those occurances that only seem paranormal. The Ghost Series is based off the Aruyou Series, which is a novel series by Japanese novelist Fuyumi Ono.
In 2006 Ghost Hunt was made into an anime that ran for 26 Episodes and this Volume 9 of the manga is the portion that covers the end (episodes 25-26). Volume 10 will be the start of arcs that were only covered in the novel series origionally.
This series is fun to read, especially if you enjoy ghost stories and/or paranormal thrillers. It is violent in some sections and would not be a good choice for small children, but it does not contain large amounts of bad language. There is no nudity in the entire series thus far. The characters representing the different religions are all true to character and are not insulting to any group. In fact the series has gone out of its way to address the hatred between China and Japan politically through Lin's character in a very respectful manner. Highly recomended.
