Sprial bound - never again! Love all the puzzles and the variety of difficulties. HATE the binding. Pages are coming out. The back of the book came off the spiral. We've resorted to ripping out the pages we've finished with to try to keep it together.
Nice, but awkward The puzzles are great, and the quality of the paper is high. But I bought spiral-bound thinking I could fold it back on itself to work one puzzle at a time. The construction of this book does not allow that and it gets tiring to hold the whole book open while you work puzzles. This book would make a nice-looking gift for someone, but it's not very comfortable to use.
400 Sudoku puzzles This book contains 400 Sudoku puzzles to meet all skill levels from easy to difficult. The pages are high quality print that is easy to read, even erase when neccessary. The margins are wide enough for making notations or marks to aid in solving each puzzle. The only negative item is with the spiral binding. It is oversized and does not allow the book to lay flat when open.
If you are looking for extremely difficult Sudoku puzzles, this is not the book for you. Everyone else that enjoys mental exercise and pleasure from solving logic puzzles will be pleased with Will Shortz's little black book.

Really nice This sturdy puzzle book is great. We have two of them in the house because neither of us can leave it alone for long. The spiral binding is a must- have. (I paper clipped the top of the spiral closed.) The pages are of substantial quality and are completely eraseable (although I don't recommend the eraser on your pencil - it smudges - a big pink eraser is best). The printed numbers are large and easy to read. The puzzles themselves are very challenging and interesting - I would recommend this book to anyone.
addicting I purchased this book as a gift for my husband since he just got hooked on the game. All he does now is play in his little black book! I guess it could be worse!!! He absolutely loves this book. I would recommend it highly to any one. Be careful though, it is pretty addicting.
