| 1. X-Men, Volume 5 (Marvel DVD Comic Book Collection) |
|
Starring: Iona Morris, Lenore Zann, Alison Seasly-Smith May 04, 2010
The animation isn't as good as the previous four seasons because it looks too cartoony (like the new wolverine and x-men show, yuck!) but the stories are still killer!!! If you don't want to read the comic but want to visually see what x-men is all about, burn your copies of ALL the x-men movies and buy these!! these cartoons have more adult subject matter and are more... more

|
Starring: James Marsden, Ian McKellen, Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, Famke Janssen Directed By: Bryan Singer October 03, 2006
The third chapter in the X-Men trilogy is magnificent. There's a lot in it to please the fans of Marvel comics, especially old-timers like me. (I read my first Marvel comic in 1963, when I was in the 3rd grade.) This is the darkest of the three films and is operatic and tragic in its style. The battle sequences are many, and the fight choreography is graceful and spectacular--a tribute to the art of... more

Starring: Patrick Stewart, Hugh Jackman, Halle Berry, Ian McKellen, Anna Paquin Directed By: Bryan Singer April 21, 2009
The Blu-ray copy of the x-men trilogy is well worth the price. The visual and audio quality is excellent. All three movies include three discs; Blu-ray movie, Blu-ray special features, and a DVD digital copy. I would recommend to any one that has the standard definition DVD to upgrade to Blu-ray. Two of my movie cases were damaged, causing the center piece to easily fall out, but did not cause... more

Starring: Iona Morris, Lenore Zann, Alison Seasly-Smith September 15, 2009
Features:- MARVEL X-MEN: VOLUME 3 (BLU-RAY DISC)
I love that the sound and video quality of this show is just as it was when I watched it on Fox as a kid. They've changed the ending credits (now a blue background with previews of another episode, rather than the "Cerebro 3-D" versions of each character that we saw on Fox), which I don't care for. I also would have liked it if they could've stuck with some original art from the series for the box... more

Starring: Patrick Stewart, Hugh Jackman, Ian McKellen, Famke Janssen, James Marsden Directed By: Bryan Singer February 07, 2006
What Singer does well is give the film a feeling grounded in reality. His "Star Trek" approach to X-men is unique and the cinematography of the film is beautiful. I love the openings of the film with magneto and rogue. I feel that everyone got a decent amount of time on screen and the performances from xaiver and magento couldn't have been better. They were brilliant. My major complaint for this movie... more

for me,this is the worst movie i have seen connected with the X-Men franchise.it's certainly watchable, but it's not up to the X Men standard.i found it slow at times.also, there are some continuity issues regarding this Wolverine and the Wolverine we see in the later X-Men movies as well as with the events themselves and how they play out in the later movies.Hugh Jackman was Fine as Wolverine,as... more

I feared after watching this movie the made wolverine for the sake of making fans happy. I thought after watching this movie that they wouldn't let Wolverine cut loose (pun intended)
This was an ok opener for the series. not the GREATEST, but they took the time to introduce all the major players.
Watch this movie, it has a LOT to do with the second movie... more
