The animation isn't as good as the previous four seasons because it looks too cartoony (like the new wolverine and x-men show, yuck!) but the stories are still killer!!!

The Blu-ray copy of the x-men trilogy is well worth the price. The visual and audio quality is excellent. All three movies include three discs; Blu-ray movie, Blu-ray special features, and a DVD digital copy. I would recommend to any one that has the standard definition DVD to upgrade to Blu-ray.

What Singer does well is give the film a feeling grounded in reality. His "Star Trek" approach to X-men is unique and the cinematography of the film is beautiful. I love the openings of the film with magneto and rogue. I feel that everyone got a decent amount of time on screen and the performances from xaiver and magento couldn't have been better. I feared after watching this movie the made wolverine for the sake of making fans happy. I thought after watching this movie that they wouldn't let Wolverine cut loose (pun intended)
This was an ok opener for the series. not the GREATEST, but they took the time to introduce all the major players.
