| Starring: Johnny Depp, Benicio Del Toro, Tobey Maguire, Ellen Barkin, Gary Busey Directed By: Terry Gilliam February 02, 2010
Does this movie need a review. This movie is hands down one of he greatest of Its time. If you choose to watch it on blu-ray, well spark a candle, dim the lights, and pick your poison; Not that you need all that for the show, but once you get into locked a serious movie collection, the tendency is to push it as far as you can... more

| | 3. Time Bandits |
| Starring: Sean Connery, Shelley Duvall, John Cleese, Katherine Helmond, Ian Holm Directed By: Terry Gilliam May 11, 1999
I like that line. I use it on people I know. Well, anyway, I decided to sit down and watch this film today to see if it's worthy of a re-purchase in the future, in the Blu-Ray format. If I didn't watch it today, I would have probably made the mistake of just going ahead and buying it again because I like films of the Sci-Fi fantasy genre. But, as movies get older and older, and we've watched them... more

| | 5. The Fisher King |
| Starring: Jeff Bridges, Robin Williams, Mercedes Ruehl, Amanda Plummer, David Hyde Pierce Directed By: Terry Gilliam February 16, 1999
Jeff Bridges and Robin Williams are exceptional in this movie of tragedy and forgiveness. Both bring such suffering and passion to their characters that you empathize with them throughout the movie. Mercedes Ruehl and Amanda Plummer provide terrific supporting roles as the love interests of Jeff Bridges and Robin Williams.
The visuals that Terri Gilliam brings to this movie are superbly... more

| | 6. Brazil |
| Starring: Jonathan Pryce, Kim Greist, Robert De Niro, Katherine Helmond, Ian Holm Directed By: Terry Gilliam March 31, 1998
Brazil was originally released in two versions: the 142 minute European theatrical cut, and the 131 minute American theatrical cut. Terry Gilliam approved both. Then there was the 94 minute "Love Conquers All" version shown on American television, which everyone agrees is dreadful. Brazil is one of my favorite films. I've seen the 131 minute cut about ten times, and the Criterion "director's cut"... more

| | 7. The Adventures of Baron Munchausen (20th Anniversary Edition) |
| Starring: John Neville, Eric Idle, Sarah Polley, Oliver Reed, Charles McKeown Directed By: Terry Gilliam April 08, 2008
"The Adventures of Baron Munchausen" is a one-of-a-kind movie. It has incredible film quality, amazing actors, action, comedy, fantasy, all in one. It also has some of the most amazing film sets ever shot. Robin Williams is so funny as the "moon king", he almost steals the show, but not quite, since the movie is so good, he's just a piece of this creative, grand, delightful epic tale. It has a magic... more

I've always thought this was a funny movie. Much better than Holy Grail and Life of Brian. Even on top of the comedy, there's a thought provoking story line!... more

This was a delightful surprise of a film. Filled with fairy tale characters coming to life, it's a dark yet funny story that's deftly handled. I loved the climax, the story and movie definitely delivered!... more
