When this was on TV years ago, I looked forward to this every week even though I was not much of a western fan. But this was an exception to the rule. My wife and I purchased Season 1 and also the other four seasons in the series and we can recommend all of them. If you've never seen Quantum Leap, and I can't see how that's possible, please do yourself a favor and treat yourself to it. Scott Bakula and Dean Stockwell were excellent week to week and superbly backed up by fine writers and director. Some of the shows even had the fine added talents... more

Great shows nicely packaged. Like others, I really want the rest of the seasons. Some episodes in the series were extremely memorable and powerful and I'd love to re-see them! So I was really pleased to be able to buy the complete series on DVD. .I absolutely love Ben Cross as Barnabus Collins and find it quite amazing that he is able to convey a scary character by sheer acting ability without the aid of todays advanced special effects! While this show was oftentimes silly and downright cheesy-I loved every second of it! The chemistry between Dean Cain and Terry Hatcher was perfect-they could not have found 2 actors more suited to these roles. Superman himself was sometimes the problem in this show. The show had to make do with the special effects available at the time but many events could have been portrayed in less cheesy... more
