| | 2. Seven Days in May |
| Starring: Burt Lancaster, Kirk Douglas, Fredric March, Ava Gardner, Edmond O'Brien Directed By: John Frankenheimer May 16, 2000
Simply put, Lancaster's and Douglas's acting are enough to give this movie excellent ratings. The story line of course is very relevant to today's events where a pacifist President is in the office and the military is more hawkish. So, it is one of those few movies that will never age and will never get old or irrelevant. Basic story line is wonderfully directed and presented. I wish they had developed... more

| | 5. The Manchurian Candidate (Special Edition) |
| Starring: Frank Sinatra, Laurence Harvey, Janet Leigh, Angela Lansbury, Henry Silva Directed By: John Frankenheimer July 13, 2004
...The original Frankenheimer version was a Classic and never should have been re-made. The Denzel Washington, Merly Streep politically correct version was twisted around to beat up on Corporate American Capitalism and was manipulative. I for one refuse to be manipulated by Hollywood agendas so I ignored the re-make and treated it as pure gargage.

| | 6. Andersonville |
| Starring: Jarrod Emick, Frederic Forrest, Ted Marcoux, Carmen Argenziano, Jayce Bartok Directed By: John Frankenheimer June 01, 2004
'Andersonville' is a really fine film made about the infamous prison camps. It has a group of characters that the viewer can identify with and also contains very good acting. I think the twin story lines in the film are handled excellently. The storyline on trying to tunnel out of the prison is handled excellently and contains very interesting details on a operation of this kind. The other story line... more

Path to War is a fine movie. It shows the gradual steps that rationalized America's increased involvement in an undesirable war.
