I was the target audience for this when it originally aired. When I 1st saw it was available I hesitated to buy it, b/c I thought it might be one of those shows that was awesome when I was young, and just dumb now that I'm an adult. Not so. A rather surprising documentary on the lives of German POWs in Canada during WWII. When one thinks of the life of a POW, one usually thinks of depravation. However, the Canadians mainly treated the Germans fairly because it was hoped the Germans would treat British POWs in the same manner.
