Personally, I find this Trilogy the best way to view all three of the Riddick movies: the original Pitch black, the animated The Chronicles of Riddick: Dark Fury, and the final chapter, The Chronicles of Riddick. All three Vin Diesel films are great views. I highly recommend... more

Pitch Black players perfectly, but for some reason Chronicles is still terrible in this set. Most of the reviews I saw for this product were from almost a 7 months ago and this set still is having the same problem. Basically the Chronicles disc freezes up about 14 mins in and then jumps 4 mins forward and won't even allow for you to rewind from there. What the heck? So much for QA testing. Amazon needs... more

A relative told me it reminded him of "Dune" which I scoffed at because I love David Lynch's "Dune" because
A) I'm a David Lynch fan and
B) I did NOT read Frank Herbert's famous book which maybe would have spoiled the movie if I were to demand it be a faithful adaptation.

I really enjoyed seeing Charlie Sheen do something a little different as far as his character in this film. He is a scientist nerd in this film who is really curious but a little insecure in his love life. It's a little bit of a low budget Saturday Matinee type film but a lot of fun along the way... more
