| 1. Books of Magick: Life During Wartime - Book #1 |
| By: Si Spencer Publisher: Vertigo March 01, 2005
I liked Gaiman's original Books of Magic but had trouble finishing it and never got the following books. I read the first part of Life in Wartime in a sampler book from Vertigo and was immediately hooked. This book has the intrigue and politics that the first book skipped. | | 4. The Vinyl Underground: Vol. 02: Pretty Dead Things |
| By: Si Spencer Publisher: Vertigo January 06, 2009

Pretty Dead Things contains two major storylines: a series of William Blake-inspired killings haunt London and protagonist Morrison Shepherd is haunted by creepy dreams and a mysterious doppleganger.
The Blake story was good - a suitable follow-up to the mystery in the... more
