Michael Turner Tribute Edition Wizard ^ It is what is described, a decent collection of a lot of Michael Turners work and a few looks into the production and personal life. Pretty inspiring story. If you're a fan of his work it's perfect. Not a sketchbook though , just a collection of his covers, issues, creations, there area few sketches thrown in as well. Crazy to think how good he would have been had he been reading and drawing comics his whole life like most comic artist had. He got into comics as an adult and 5 months later was on his way to being the biggest name in comics next to J. Scott Campbell and Joe Madureira.
R.I.P. ^ Michael Turner was a comic book artist best known for drawing sexy female heroes, although he was also good at rendering muscular male heroes. He was one of the most in demand artists when he tragically died from cancer at the age of 37. His most notable work was on Witchblade, Fathom, Superman/Batman and Soulfire. This hardcover book reprints most of the cover artwork he did for those books and others on high quality paper. The art is very nice, but the articles that accompany the art are rather superficial. Still, the artwork makes the book worth having, although it's not worth the cover price.
