| 1. On the Launch Pad: A Counting Book About Rockets (Know Your Numbers) |
|
By: Dahl, Michael Publisher: Picture Window Books 2004-07
This is a fun book for teaching kids how to count to 10.
What I also liked was that each illustration had a hidden number in it. So after a kid has seen the book a few times, you can have them look for the hidden number in the illustration... more

| 2. The Brain: A Very Short Introduction |
|
By: Michael O'Shea Publisher: Oxford University Press, USA 2003-10
The vocabulary used in this book is quite friendly to the readers, who don't practice relevant subjects. I think everybody with a functioning brain, no matter how high or low an IQ is produced by it, should feel proud of owning... more

| 4. How to Build A Small Budget Recording Studio From Scratch : With 12 Tested Designs (TAB Mastering Electronics Series) |
|
By: Michael Shea Publisher: McGraw-Hill/TAB Electronics May 29, 2002
I thought it was going to cover the entire aspects of the recording studio including the suitable equipments, unfortunately it was just directed toward the construction. I'm not the construction engineer so why would I care too much on the details. I think basic theory on the construction is enough and more elaboration is needed for the furniture and equipment selection... more

| 5. Campaign Craft (Praeger Series in Political Communication) |
|
By: Daniel M. Shea, Michael John Burton Publisher: Praeger May 30, 2006
Good book, not great. The beginning of the book starts off really strong with the technical tools people use to win elections. About midway through the book it starts to give really vague overviews of public relations tactics. I can't recall the book mentioning anything about brand image, which in my opinion, is very important to any campaign. I would recommend buying this book with, Making News by... more
