| 1. 101 Dalmatians (Little Golden Book) |
|
By: Justine Korman Publisher: Golden/Disney December 26, 2007
I have been looking for this book for my grand daughter for about a year. It's not in print anymore so the stores don't carry it. I finally went to Amazon.com, and there it was. Thanks for your help. She was delighted.

| 2. Congo: Movie Storybook |
|
By: Ron Fontes, Justine Korman, Michael Crichton Publisher: Red Fox August 03, 1995
I couldn't even get half way through it. Bland characters, unrealistic plot. With too much dated, unnecessary and boring information. The gorilla, Amy, was not even realistic. He made her out to be more intelligent and more capable at signing than happens in reality. I am supposed to believe that the first time Amy was shown a watermelon she signed "water fruit" combining the two signs all on her own?... more

| 3. Disney's the Hunchback of Notre Dame (Big Golden Book) |
|
By: Justine Korman Publisher: Artist & Writers Guild Books 1996-05
Reading The Hunchback of Norte-Dame was a nightmare for me. I don't mind trudging through a certain degree of detail, but The Hunchback contained well beyond a reasonable amount of description.
The book starts out with a play no one is watching. We return to what is going on with the play again and again which distracts from the excitement of the crowd. We are then provided with an entire... more

| 4. Disney's Pocahontas (A Little Golden Book) |
|
By: Justine Korman Publisher: Golden Books 1995-08
ISBN 0307302008 - Illustrations by Don Williams, fantastic. Standard Disney quality, vibrant colors and even a slightly delicate touch to some of the images. The story, though... I love the Pocahontas story and I admire Disney for trying. I don't think they did it very well here, and I can't blame adapter Justine Korman, who had a lot to pack into very few pages.
Pocahontas is expected... more

| 5. The Luckiest Leprechaun: A Tail-Wagging Tale of Friendship |
|
By: Justine Korman Publisher: Troll Communications March 15, 2001
Every year a leprechaun visits my classroom. This year she/he left this book. The kids loved it. They felt sorry for the dog and predicted what might happen between the unlikely pair. We talked about the leprechaun's demeanor and feelings. The thing that i heard about most with this book was that "Lucky," the dog, was a girl! This is a very big deal with 5 & 6 year-olds...especially the girls!... more

| 6. The Poky Little Puppy's First Christmas (Little Golden Book) |
|
By: Justine Korman Publisher: Golden Books September 10, 2002
I just turned 63 and the first and most lasting book memory in my mind, is my Mother buying me The Poky Little Puppy and reading it to me over and over. I had no idea that The Poky Little Puppy's First Christmas existed; until now. Like the anniversary edition I purchased this for my first and only grandchild. I loved this story (I read it first) and like the original the illustrations are wonderful... more

| 9. Signs of Spring |
|
By: Justine Fontes, Justine Korman Publisher: Mondo Publishing 2003-06
We found this book ...just as the daffodils and forsythia were starting to flower. My 3 yr old sons and I went on a treasure hunt for more signs of spring, without much luck. A couple weeks later, as the weather warmed, we tried again. This time, we pretended to be the characters in the book, Lucy, Henry and Zack. Like Lucy, I definitely get spring fever, so I was thrilled to lead them in their search... more
