| 1. Portrait in Sepia |
| By: Isabel Allende Publisher: Thorndike Press June 02, 2002

| | 2. Zorro Volume 1 TPB (v. 1) |
| By: Matt Wagner, Isabel Allende, Francesco Francavilla By: Matt Wagner Publisher: Dynamite Entertainment February 15, 2009
I just finished reading this first trade of Zorro. I have to say it reads much better in one book, than issue to issue. There is a lot of back story in this first trade to get through, so it takes a while for things to really move. But when they do movie, its well worth it! I'm a huge fan of Zorro, owning just about anything I can get my hands on. This story draws from movies like Mask of... more

| | 3. Tales Of Zorro |
| By: Jan Adkins, Isabel Allende, Robin Wayne Bailey, Mike Bullock, Max Allan Collins, Greg Cox, A. C. Crispin, Peter David, Loren D. Estleman, Ed Gorman, Robert Greenberger, Nancy Holder, Wendy Hornsby, Tim Lasiuta, Andy Mangels, Doug Klauba Publisher: Moonstone June 18, 2008

Despite the different writers, the stories can be read as a single collection with a single voice. I'm looking forward to volume... more

| | 4. Abarat and Other Fantasy Tales for Teens: Abarat, City of the Beasts, Coraline |
| By: Clive Barker, Isabel Allende, Neil Gaiman Publisher: HarperCollins October 22, 2002
Abarat is great. It is almost worth getting for the pictures but it is good anyway. City of the Beast is my favorite of the three. There is the story of the people as well as them together. It is an interesring story that can make you think if you want it to. My least favorite of the three was Coraline because I don't like horror stories. It was still worth reading. It was a story I would recommend... more

| | 5. Zorro Volume 1 HC |
| By: Matt Wagner, Isabel Allende Publisher: Dynamite Entertainment December 29, 2008
This is a sequel to an earlier series called Cosmic Guard which (as of 2007) has not been collected or reprinted. It tried to sum up what happened in the first chapter and does an OK job.
The premis is familiar, a young boy is chosen to protect the universe from an evil army. It has some neat fights, some cringe-worthy dialogue, some cool visuals and then just ends.
As far... more
