The Dirty Pair concept is simple, two girls in hot pants and halter tops fight future crime but disaster, inevitably, follows in their wake. I really enjoyed the Adam Warren Dirty Pair comics and had high hopes when I saw Dark Horse was translating Takachiho's original stories.
But these translations by Dana Lewis and John Thomas are almost unbearably bad.

I was expecting a novel since the designation was "paperback" instead of "comic" but this is a translation of the original manga(thus a comic book)and not a novel. As manga go it is pretty good. The art is only fair and the two stories in it don't have a lot to them but, for manga fans, it is pretty standard and fans of this sort of thing should like it... more
