By: Mary Shelley, Gary Reed Publisher: Puffin May 19, 2005
I am not really into comics, but after picking this one up, I was impressed. Great graphics, especially after I found out it was done by Photoshop, and an easy to understand story. I think it was very well done and I look forward to seeing and reading more graphic novels in the future. ... more

| 3. Honour Among Punks: The Complete Baker Street Graphic Novel |
|
By: Guy Davis, Gary Reed Publisher: IBooks Graphic Novel July 25, 2003
I just happened to stumble upon this in my brother's library, not surprising since he's a punk himself. Seeing as I'm a big graphic novel enthusiast with an ever-growing personal library, I decided to read it. The story takes place in a post-Victorian London, where the whole "punk" fashion originated, where an American medical student named Susan Predergrast has flown into and settled into an apartment... more

By: Becky Cloonan Publisher: Puffin March 02, 2006
Puffin Graphics: Dracula (Puffin Graphics (Graphic Novels)) I have never before seen such a superb graphic novel illustrated totally in pen and ink. Any lover of Bram Stoker, lover of pen and ink rendition and graphic novel should have this book in their collection. You will be glued to the book from the very first page. This graphic novel is a 100% adaptation of the benchmark horror novel. When... more

| 6. Sherlock Holmes: The Cases of the Twisted Minds |
|
By: Steven Philip Jones, Gary Reed Publisher: Transfuzion Publishing May 22, 2009
I really enjoyed this book. Contrary to the previous reviewer's statement there is nothing more horrifying, gory, or grisly than in any other Holmes story. There's no blood or anything of that nature. You really have to be a fan of both Sherlock Holmes and The Phantom of the Opera, or the Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde to enjoy it. The plot of the Jekyll and Hyde tale sticks very close to... more

| 7. Deadworld: Slaughterhouse |
|
By: Gary Reed, Sami Makkonen Publisher: Desperado Publishing May 22, 2009
Artwork: 4.0 out of 5 Alright before we go to far into the artwork I want to make it very clear that I loved it. I don't think there could have been a better artist to do this story and one who fits into the fold of other Deadworld artists so well. Now that being said, this book is gore-geous with some flaws. While the characters are not always consistent and sometimes a little hard to decipher... more

By: Gary Reed, Galen Showman Publisher: Image Comics November 15, 2006
Another great Gary Reed book. Whether it's his kid friendly stuff like SPIRIT OF THE SAMURAI or his graphic novel work for Puffin adapting such classics as FRANKENSTEIN, Gary always manages to find a new twist on something familiar. This book looks great also! I recommend it to anyone that's a fan of the mythos... more
