After volume one of Batman Chronicles, I wanted more and more. I picked this up and was immediately fascinated by how much talent the 40's series came from. Bob Kane may be the pioneer of the superhero, but I would argue that in some of his moments, I think he did it best. Batman defined true heroism with his unbreakable spirit and unstoppable crime purge. It's no wonder his stories lasted so long... more
