By: John Ostrander, Omar Francia, Alan Robinson, Brad Anderson Publisher: Dark Horse December 24, 2008
Excellent story line and fantastic art. Really captures the original excitement of the Star Wars legacy. This whole series will keep you entertained and the artwork is done by a host of artists, but all under the direction of Jan Duursema, who also did Darth Maul. Greatly detailed and captures all the action with many twist and turns. This is a good buy.

There's a lot of reason and a lot less faith in these narratives. 13 members of the Jesus Seminar talk about their beliefs and how they got there. I found that most of them are left with a faith that, in my opinion, doesn't have a lot to offer.
On the other hand, I thought most of their arguments were pretty convincing. This left me uneasy. If they're presenting the next step in the faith... more

| 6. Tales of the Batman: Tim Sale |
|
By: Tim Sale, Darwyn Cooke, James Robinson, Kelley Puckett, Alan Grant Publisher: Titan Books Ltd January 25, 2008
"Tales" is a collection of Batman adventures showcasing the artistic talents of Tim Stale. Although the violence and action typically found in Batman is present, these aren't as gritty and gruesome as more recent releases. In fact, a couple of the tales, such as "Date Knight" in which Catwoman outrageously flirts with the Bat, are quite lighthearted... more

If you would like to get current on the state of scholarship on the long ending of Mark, this is the introduction you want. Highly readable, this volume does not bolster your presuppositions, but alerts you to the important arguments on all sides of the debate regarding Mark's long ending (and the intermediate ending). This book is a great introduction for those just jumping into the debate and a good... more

I've read all of the stories in this Batman TPB, and while the Bat-Mite and Poison Ivy tales are OK, the first tale, "Blades" by Robinson and Sale, is spectacular. If you're a fan of "Starman" or anything else by Robinson, buy this quick. If you like great storytelling and great art by Sale, buy this quick!... more

A prequel for a bad movie, has to be bad. This comic is worst than bad. I have never read the first couple pages of a comic, and knew I was going to hate it. I love the original three movies( I have them all in every movie format). This comic makes me want to vomit... more
