...the reader realizes that Kaiba Mokuba in the manga is NOTHING like the sweet, albeit spoiled, Kaiba Mokuba in the show (at least the American version). This Mokuba gave me chills down my spine. This volume of Yu-Gi-Oh! is an intense read even for the older reader... more

What with all the confusion from differences between the japanese and english dubbed versions and the 2 entirely separate series released in japan it's great that you can finally own the great Yu-Gi-Oh! story in it's original format intended by the author. If you're still assuming Yu-Gi-Oh! is an annoying kids show don't be so sure. This original manga is uncut with violence, peril, and back... more

Personally, I really don't like the Yu-Gi-Oh! Card games, I think Pokemon is way better. But I was reading a Yu-Gi-Oh! Manga Episode in an issue of Shonen Power! and the Manga is great! Anzu is my favorite character! It's really sweet that she likes the one Yugi, but not the kid one. Hahaha! So, DONT PLAY YU- GI- OH! READ IT!... more

.,.Especially considering that back then in the early 2000's, a lot of manga were getting mangled in translation when being brought here to the USA. I bought this when YGO was still a fresh show on TV, with Pegasus as the main bad guy and all. But the manga is actually so much better than the anime. When I read it, I was impressed with how much more 'mature' the manga was in way of violence, threats... more

Like the person before, I received no cards with this purchase. I bought 12 books under the impression that they were new, factory-sealed, and would include the promotional card. When I received my order, they were all opened and had no cards. I filed an exchange for the item, received 12 new ones very quickly, but again they were ALL opened, had no cards even when I stated what was wrong with the... more
