I would highly suggest buying something from LeapFrog instead. I purchased a v-smile for my son in June of 2009 and within 2 weeks it was having problems- constantly refusing to turn on, which led to a call to customer service who suggested a hard-reset method which was not in the troubleshooting guide included with the system. My 3 1/2 year old LOVES this game! I love that he is learning instead of zoning on the tv. The game has a couple of spots he still has something to learn, keeping him interested. This is an educational toy; just don't let him know it is good for him! There are loads of mini games inside of this game, keeping it an interesting experience for him each time he plays. Save your money, buy a Wii. This doesn't compare in the least and is actually harder for the kids to control than a Wii. I don't recomend this toy, I bought this v-tech game for my daughter when she was 5 she is now 6 and doesn't enjoy it at all.Its her least favorate game.I feel it's because it only has 4 games to choose from and very repetative.
