| 1. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: A Quarter Century Celebration |
|
From: Heavy Metal Magazine Publisher: Heavy Metal Magazine June 26, 2009
This is 180 pages of Kevin Eastman's favorite Turtles stories--at least, the favorites he was able to fit within 180 pages. The book is oversized, even bigger than the First Publishing volumes; the paper is glossy and white; and some of the stories have been colored. The cover may look familiar--the artwork on the front is identical to that on First Publishing's Book IV, and I think the back is one... more

This handy little collection features the first 3 issues of the Archie Comics series, which adapted the first few episodes of the original cartoon. Hopefully, they will continue to reprint these, as the very underrated Archie Comics series of TMNT hits its stride after branching out into its own with issue #5. ... more

| 7. The Official Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Treasury |
|
By: Stanley Wiater Publisher: Villard March 13, 1991
Allthough it didn't seem to mention that the book was in black & white, it still is pretty interesting to see all the products the TMNT appeared on. It also has the covers for their comics, and speaking of wich, I didn't see the Ninja Turtle enima bags mentioned in Mirage issue #41 in this book. LOL... more

| 9. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Titan Books)) (v. 2) |
|
By: Peter David Publisher: Titan Books June 05, 2007
This TPB is mainly meant for kids, but I wouldn't let my kids read it since it isn't even somewhat intellectual. The artwork resembles the new cartoon that is on Fox Kids, but I didn't like the artwork either. I'm a fan of the older comic books and artwork. And the story is just too simplistic and boring. I expected more of an interesting and intellectual read. Just because the material is about... more

By: Peter David Publisher: Titan Books June 05, 2007
I have the same issue with this one as I did the second TPB. This TPB is mainly meant for kids, but it is too simplistic and unintellectual, so I wouldn't let my kids read it. The artwork resembles the new cartoon that is on Fox Kids, but I didn't like the artwork either since it is drawn in that japanese anime style of the new cartoon. I'm a fan of the older comic books and artwork. The story is... more
