A must for underwater photography If you intend to use the Xacti underwater, this strap is a must. It held the camera securely but was easy enough to undo to switch users. I can not see how we could have used the camera underwater without this leash.
Water leash I purchased this item at the same time I bought my waterproof camcorder,thinking it was a must have.So far that is not the case.I found that where I have used my camcorder,(swimming pools, water slides,and amusement park water rides), this item was a waste of money.The factory leash so far has served me quite well.I gave this item a 4 star rating because next year I will truly test it out with a trip to Hawaii.So just because it did not work for me does not mean it won't work for others.Good product ,just not very useful for me so far.
Works as designed Not much to talk about here, other than this product works as designed. It holds the camera and it stay on my arm with the velcro strap. The only thing that bothers me is I wish the strap were a little longer so I could velcro it around my arm when I'm tubing and still be able to paddle with my hands in the water without the camera getting wet or dragged along in the water. That's just with tubing though... other situations like the beach or boating, this thing is great!
vpc-e2 water leash glad to have this accessory when i floated the salmon river. (it's a little bulky, though)
A Good choice - but needs refined The strap is a must while in the water, but the loop needs to be a lot mor flexible, It fels like it mind undo by itself.
