I need to apologize to the Marvel character of Ares. You see, before reading this TPB, most of my knowledge of the character came from the Brian Michael Bendis series, The Mighty Avengers. I always knew him as the dumb jock comic relief. He was someone with a short temper who usually shouts at the top of his lungs: "How dare thee!" or "For I am a God!" Powers is the greatest comic book series in the world! I feel really dumb for trying to finish reading the earlier stuff so late because Bendis and Oeming have just realeased vol. 3 of the series with a whole new number one. It is a great series for people who love comics and the crime and superhero genre. Would recommend this to anyone... more
