| 1. Bone: The Complete Cartoon Epic in One Volume (Vol 1) |
|
By: Jeff Smith Publisher: Cartoon Books 2004-09
This is not about the book itself. I ordered this item a couple days ago for $14.99, got the confirmation, and now it's been dropped from my order without so much as a by-your-leave. If this is indeed a rumored pricing glitch, Amazon is doing a very poor job of handling it... more

By: Jeff Smith Publisher: GRAPHIX August 01, 2009
If you have read the Bone series you will find little new story in here, you pretty much know these events / characters (maybe not with all the details) that are laid out. And if you had not read the Bone series you should NOT read this first because it reveals some of the mysteries that make reading Bone so exiting.
So at the end, whether you read Bone before or not, this book is not... more

| 3. Little Mouse Gets Ready (Toon Books) |
|
By: Jeff Smith Publisher: Raw Junior, LLC September 21, 2009
Jeff Smith has always been in touch with his inner child, the one that loved comics from the get-go and got lost in their worlds of wonder and fantasy. That's been pretty evident throughout his career. You've seen it, of course, in his definitive epic Bone (if you haven't seen it, what are you waiting for? The time is now), and it shines through in his kidlike interpretation of Captain Marvel in Shazam!... more

By: Dave Filipi, Scott McCloud, Neil Gaiman, Jeff Smith Publisher: Wexner Center for the Arts July 01, 2008
So Jeff Smith created the "Bone" and "Rasl" comic book series' and also a brilliant retelling of "Shazam!"
This book is a guide from a display of his comic strips, books, and other cartoons that was held in honour of his amazing amazing stroytelling abilities. This was a show of respect for an art form that is so overlooked in today's culture.

| 8. Bone, Vol. 9: Crown of Horns |
|
By: Jeff Smith Publisher: Graphix January 20, 2009
It could be slightly unfair to call the Bone series "Comedic Fantasy" since it hardly makes light of it's own subject matter, yet the apparent humor is anything but consequential. I initially became aware of this series during a brief run of part of the first chapter in Disney Adventures comics, and later on acquired the One Volume Edition that has the entire story in one large paperback (Greatly recommend)... more
