This is an excellent webcam, with a built in mic, and a flexible base for easy ajustment, it is very convinient, and very easy. However, I feel that the 720p hd selling point is moot, as at least for me, it did not make a large difference. Maybe with faster internet speeds, but insofar, a good webcam, it should be recommended, but dont expect the picture quality to improve drastically... more

|
From: Microsoft September 23, 2004
Features:- Wireless notebook mouse
- Long battery life
- Convenient snap-in receiver
- Optical sensor tracks mouse movement
- Designed for use with either hand
I bought this mouse to replace a wireless Logitech mouse which I broke. I've had the Microsoft mouse for about 3 weeks and just bought another Logitech to replace it. In fairness to Microsoft, I'm using this on a laptop running Linux, not Windows.
I plugged it in, Linux picked it up and all seemed fine. But the range is VERY poor, it frequently loses connectivity (even at a short distance... more

This thing takes forever to load the software drivers, even with Windows 7. Windows 7 does not automatically load the drivers for this device. Previously I had purchased the HP KQ246AA and that one you just plug in and go. I was trying to save a few bucks by buying this one but that was a mistake.
Aside from that, picture and voice quality are fine... more

I've been using this mouse for about 6 weeks now. For the most part, I am happy although there are a few things to mention. The battery life isnt that great so its important to turn off the mouse when not in use. My previous mouse, the microsoft wireless 3000, had excellent battery life regardless if I turned it off or not therefore I got into the habit of not turning it off as a result. Well, the... more

- Enhanced PC gaming and Xbox Live play

- For PC and Xbox 360
For quite a long time, using a joystick in Windows to play games was a real pain. I remember buying a generic one few years ago, and realizing I could only play few games with it, and even those played awfully uncomfortable and I had to set up axes, buttons, etc. on each game. With the Xbox 360 Controller for Windows, Microsoft are trying to push it as a standard, and many games support it out... more

I bought this mouse about 3 months ago, and have regretted it ever since.
PROS: The mouse works great, I love the tiny receiver, and the fact that it can be used on every surface.
CONS: The Battery life is a little bit shorter than other mice, but the major con is the scroll wheel. Its over sensitive, and lacks notches.
Overall: This mouse is... more
