| By: Rob Morrison, Charlie Adlard Publisher: AiT/PlanetLar June 11, 2005
The art work is hard to read, the type is computer set and sometimes is too small. It would have been nice if more attention was paid to craft, the visual storytelling is just so so. I would check it out in a comic shop, not buy it... more

I can't believe it took me so long to get this and read it. Kudos to Author Young for putting together an interesting story and then a prequel and sequel that do it justice. What fun! Highly recommended for fans of Space Travel, Science Fiction, Graphic Novels, Robots, Rockets, Reading & Drinking.

| | 5. The Walking Dead, Book 7: The Calm Before |
| By: Robert Kirkman Publisher: Image Comics October 10, 2007
Tensions mount inside the prison haven while the survivors deal with a wedding, a birth, an ongoing war with roamers, an imminent war with another surviving tribe, and a few funerals.
This amazing series continues to keep readers wondering what happens next and urges them through each page of the story. The trauma of the undead threat takes a back seat to an internal stew that is coming... more

| | 6. Astronauts in Trouble : Live from the Moon |
| By: Larry Young, Matt Smith, Charlie Adlard Publisher: AiT/PlanetLar 1999-11
On of the best stories I've read in along time. Larry Young does an excellent job of creating interesting characters and binding them to a well written story. You can tell the love that Larry has for the subject material it shows in the detail he uses and the plans he's created. His sense of dialog is great. This is the kind of book that makes you want to see man go to the Moon again. more

| | 7. Astronauts in Trouble : One Shot, One Beer |
| By: Charlie Adlard, Larry Young Publisher: AiT/PlanetLar November 15, 2000
It's like one of those films where several stories are joined together by a theme and the manner of their telling. In this case we are in a bar on the Moon. So we get a tall tale of the first "public" landing on the Moon as seen in Astronauts in Trouble: Live from the Moon (by the same author). And a laddish tale of bar-room etiquette. And an ancient Eastern morality tale. Not at all what you'd expect... more

| | 9. The Walking Dead, Vol. 6: This Sorrowful Life (v. 6) |
| By: Robert Kirkman Publisher: Image Comics May 16, 2007
I actually just read this as well as 7 today. Have been reading them on my visits to the most awesome tattoo shop in LA, Kayden Creations. I thought the first two were sort of "getting going" but the series really hit it's stride in parts 3-5. The series is undeniably entertaining, but wholly unoriginal. There is honestly nothing new in this series, and a lot of times I can identify the exact source... more
