I've also been a fan of A Distant Soil since its inception at WaRP graphics in the 80s.
Colleen's artwork has always been extremely beautiful and moving. This time around the storyline has evolved to a level of exquisitness that it matches the poinancy of her visuals. I remember these comics/graphic novels, from when I was a kid. But the ones I had were in color. So, when I saw that Amazon had some for sale, I rushed to get them. I didn't realize that the newer versions would be in B/W. I know that it's cheaper to produce graphic novels in B/W, but it's disappointing to me.
